Register En Masse in APC as Appreciation for Tinubu’s Support for Kwara — SOJ
The Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to the Governor of Kwara State, Hon. Obasanjo Alashi (SOJ), has urged the good people of Kwara to take advantage of the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) fresh membership registration exercise as a show of appreciation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s sustained support for the state.
Speaking in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Tuesday, Hon. Alashi called on well-meaning Kwarans with political aspirations and interests to seize the opportunity to formally align with the ruling party. According to him, the registration exercise provides citizens with a platform not only to participate actively in governance but also to strengthen a party that has demonstrated clear commitment to the development of Kwara State.
Obasanjo Alashi popularly known as SOJ noted that increased participation in the APC would serve as encouragement to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as consistently showing goodwill toward Kwara through strategic appointments and prompt responses to issues affecting the state.
He further observed that Kwara State has not witnessed this level of development in recent times, attributing the progress to the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. According to him, sustaining this developmental momentum requires continued support for the APC, which he described as the political platform driving the current reforms and infrastructure growth across the state.
SOJ concluded that supporting the APC is not merely a political decision but a recognition of effective governance and a deliberate step toward charting a more prosperous future for Kwara State.
